If there’s ever a moment to fully embrace your inner EXTRA, it’s on your wedding day. Looking like a princess as you walk down the aisle, make a grand entrance at your reception or embrace your partner in a first dance is no new thing, but choosing the perfect dress to do this in is what really counts.

Full-skirted bridal ballgowns worthy of the red carpet is one of the things Galia Lahav’s Bridal Couture does best.

We have designed and made numerous ballgown wedding dresses to bring our #GLbrides’ dreams to life. Every gown is designed to make its wearer look like royalty while also feeling the most beautiful they could possibly feel.

Read on to see 12 of our favourite ballgown wedding dresses, each special in its own unique way. Maybe one of these could bring your wedding-day dreams to life!

The Nevis dress with the detachable Nova skirt
We are huge fans of customisable wedding-day outfits. Wearing the show-stopping Nova skirt over the lightweight Nevis during your ceremony, then taking it off for the party gives you the best of both worlds. The Nevis, worn on its own, is simpler and easier to move in (hello, dancefloor!).

The Querida
This contemporary take on the bridal ballgown is perfect for a modern bride. The Querida‘s cut-out bodice is highlights your curves, while its bold skirt keeps things regal.

The Aida
We also love the more traditional Aida satin ballgown, from our Alegria Collection. Its perfectly constructed corset and delicate off-the-shoulder design to keep things sensual.

The Magdalena
Keeping things cool, a city bride might fall in love with the fashion-forward Magdalena gown. This silvery belt and thigh-high slit make Magdalena one badass princess dress.

The Fabiana
The 3D embellishment on the floaty Fabiana is the epitome of Fairy Queen. The skirt, less voluminous than some of our other bridal ballgowns, gives this dress more fluidity. Pair with a tiara to complete the look.

The Solange
The sheer fabric and floral spaghetti straps make the Solange one of our favourite ballgowns for a summer wedding.

The Mia
Light as air! Fluffy layers of tulle give the Mia the twirl-factor every princess bride is looking for.

The Aelin
A strapless sweetheart bodice, sparkling sequins and silk tulle skirt make the Aelin one of the most classically feminine styles in our Queen of Hearts collection.

The Imperia
The Imperia is made for a woman who rules. Structural satin and a chic bow make this ballgown the perfect gift for a winter wedding!

The Thea
The truly majestic Thea is another two-dresses-in-one style. Remove the open-fronted ballgown skirt to reveal a floral appliquéd mermaid dress below.

The Gia
Crystal-encrusted flowers float from bodice to the train on the magical Gia dress from the Le Secret Royal II collection. The less structured skirt flows easily to the floor, making this princess wedding dress perfect for dancing.

The Georgia
The caviar-pearl sequins that adorn the rose pattern of the Georgia is what makes this our favourite from the Victorian Affinity collection. And that’s not to mention the blush and ivory skirt, adding some irresistible colour to your big day style.
