Cassie's Romantic Wedding Day

Today, we’re taking a look at Cassie’s wedding day, where she looked absolutely stunning in our Nadia gown! In the following interview, Cassie shares the details of her destination wedding, special moments, and how she found 'The One'. As told by Cassie:

"Always knew my dress had to come from Galia Lahav."

A moment of your wedding day you will never forget?
Walking down the aisle and seeing the look in my husband's eyes—there was so much love and joy, it felt like time stood still.

One thing you wish you knew as a new bride? What advice would you give to future brides?
I wish I knew how quickly the day passes. My advice to future brides would be to take moments throughout the day to just soak it all in. Enjoy every second of planning and celebrating, because it truly is a unique and beautiful journey.

A detail that made your wedding special/unique?
We created a custom magazine that was used as a program for the wedding ceremony. It was a destination wedding for all of our guests and the magazine gave everyone information about where everyone had traveled from, our childhood pictures, and tributes to our family members who had passed.

How did you know your dress was 'the one'?
The moment I put it on, I felt a rush of emotion and I could instantly picture walking towards my future. It was not just the beauty of the dress but how it made me feel—like the best version of myself. I’ve followed Galia Lahav on instagram for over a decade and always knew my dress
had to come from Galia Lahav.

How did it feel when you put on your dress the day of the wedding? What was everyone's reaction to the dress?
Putting on my dress felt surreal, a mix of excitement and a bit of nervousness. The reaction was overwhelming; there were tears, especially from my family, as they saw me transformed into a bride. My bridesmaids were in “ah” saying it was the most beautiful dress they’ve ever seen.

"Working with Galia Lahav was a dream."

Would you have done anything differently?
Honestly, I might have extended the reception! Everyone was having such a wonderful time that the hours flew by too quickly.

What was your favorite part of the wedding to plan/you were most looking forward to?
Planning the ceremony was my favorite part. We really focused on making it feel intimate and personal, including aspects of our culture and shared interests.

How did you meet your husband? How did he propose?
We met through mutual friends and we went on one date and have been together ever since. He proposed 2 years later but had told me one week into dating he was going to marry me. We used to live in California and moved to Scottsdale together a few years ago. He waited to propose when we had family visiting so that my parents and sister could be there for the big moment.

How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav?
Working with Galia Lahav was a dream. The team was attentive, understanding, and incredibly skilled at bringing my vision to life. They made sure every detail was perfect.

How many dresses did you try on before you found it?
I tried on about ten dresses, but nothing felt right until I stepped into the Galia Lahav gown. It was immediately clear that it was the one. The cinched waist, corset top, and dramatic sparkly train were jaw dropping! I found the Nadia gown at my very first dress appointment at Destiny's Bride in Scottsdale, AZ. After trying on their Galia Collection, I flew to Galia flagship store in Los Angeles with my mom and my sister to make sure there wasn't a gown I liked better. After trying on a ton of other gorgeous Galia gowns, I still knew Nadia was the one.
