Haley's Wedding Day As A GL Bride!

A moment of your wedding day will you never forget?

My first look with my soon to be husband… I tapped him on the shoulder and he refused to turn around due to the streams of tears down his face. Once he finally did, it was one of the most special moments of my life. We read our vows in private and it felt like a few minutes had frozen in time for us to share our love and realize that we finally made it to our wedding day. We were both overwhelmed with emotions and it is one of the only slow moments from the entire wedding day that I remember.

One thing you wish you knew as a new bride? What advice would you give to future brides?

Do the first look, it is the only time you really have alone all day with your spouse.
Don’t ask for too much input from others, do what you want, it is your day after all.

How did you know your dress was 'the one'?

I had tried on a handful of dresses and the stylist walked by with this dress on the hanger. My future sister in law was with me and she said “Haley look at that” and i turned around and immediately ran into the dressing room to try it on. As soon as i walked out, all i could see was a double thumbs up from my future sister in law and future mother in law. We all instantly knew it was the one.

Would you have done anything differently?

Nope, everything was meant to be exactly how it was. it was truly a dream come true.
