Our #GLBride of the week is the lovely Laura Lussi, who walked down the aisle in our GALA 1010. Lauren and her fiancé tied the knot and held their magical fairytale wedding at the Villa Orselina in Ticino, Switzerland.

How did you meet your husband? How did he propose?

We met at university but only ended up together years later. As soon as we met again we knew it was meant to be. He proposed on my birthday, we went to the restaurant where we had our first date and once we were back home at our safe place he got down on one knee.

How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav, and how did you know your dress was 'the one'?

I saw the dress at Boutique Zoro in Zurich, Switzerland. The team working with Galia Lahav was amazing, catering to my wishes and preparing my dress just the way I liked it. It fit perfectly on our wedding day. I couldn’t have wished for a better team and a more beautiful dress. - I couldn’t stop staring and smiling at myself imagining myself walking down the aisle in this beautiful gown. I wanted a dress that was me And the dress and not just about the dress and it fit perfectly with my personality.

How did it feel when you put on your dress the day of the wedding?

Positively nervously excited and full of anticipation. Some small tears were shed.

A detail that made your wedding special/unique?

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, we had a wedding cake made of 4 different loaves of cheese.

"Don’t fret about having the “perfect” wedding itinerary and don’t make sure everything goes according to plan."
