Our #GLBride of the Week is the stunning Rachel Wade, who married the love of her life in our Maya gown. She and her fiancé tied the knot at Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach. In the following interview, Rachel shares the moments she'll cherish forever and how she became a GL Bride. As told by Rachel:

How did your husband propose? Did you know it was coming?

He planned us a weekend trip to San Diego and a nice dinner at a restaurant down there. Before dinner, we walked on the beach and he stopped and proposed and even had a hidden photographer! It was so special, then we celebrated at dinner with lots of champagne

How did you find working with the team at Galia Lahav, and how did you know your dress was 'the one'?

It was amazing, they were so helpful the whole time, and my dress came in perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for more! - I put it on and loved it immediately, I had tried on a few others and liked them but this one felt so unique and special. I felt so confident once I had it on, I didn’t want to take it off!

Who had the best reaction to your dress?

All of my friends and family were shocked when I first showed them my dress. My bridesmaids were probably the best though, as soon as I was dressed they were screaming. My husband was pretty good too, his face lit up as I was walking down the aisle.

What was your favorite part of your wedding dress experience?

It was just me and my mom because of covid protocols and it was so special! She’s my best friend and having her help me pick was the best. She agreed once I tried on Maya, there was no going back to any other dress, that one was perfect.
