Bride Of The Week: Tina Yazdani
Written By Kaileah Christine
June 6, 2022
This week’s GL Bride is the gorgeous Tina Yazdani, who walked down the aisle in our Bellina gown. Tina and her fiancé decided to have a stunning boho-inspired wedding in Tulum, Mexico. In the following interview, Tina shares with us how she created the wedding of her dreams along with how she found her perfect dress with us.
"Our theme was Tulumian style everything!"
How did you meet your husband? Tell us a little bit about your relationship.
Jake and I actually met in high school! But we didn’t start dating until years later. We were best friends and stayed in touch even after moving to different cities for school. I always loved him, and in our final year of university, we officially started our relationship.
How did you find your perfect dress?
I absolutely fell in love with the Galia Lahav Bellina gown. I had been following it on Instagram for months and was so excited when it came to a local bridal shop, White Toronto, during a trunk show. I was nervous to try it on since it’s hard to tell what would actually look good on your body. I was thrilled when I did, and it felt right. I knew I wouldn’t find anything like it. It was the most unique dress I had tried on.
"I knew I wouldn’t find anything like it."
How was your experience with the Galia Lahav brand?
It was incredible. The designers catered to my every request and need, and the dress was truly made for me, my body and my style. We made several adjustments to this dress until it felt perfect – I’ve never felt more beautiful! I wish I could wear the dress every day.
What moment from your wedding will you never forget?
Saying our vows under the chuppah. We were both so emotional. It felt like an out-of-this-world moment.
