Daniela Dib Wedding Story
Due to the current situation, some of our brides had to postpone their weddings. We decided to share with you their inspiring stories in hope that their experiences will help other brides out there going through the same!
Daniela
Positive Thoughts
"I truly feel grateful and optimistic. This unprecedented situation has only brought me closer to my fiancé, and deeply revealed what is important in life. As isolated as we may feel, we are also more powerfully connected than we ever have been."
Decision Making
"The decision ultimately came down to a private conversation with my fiancé and I. Once we made up our mind, we acted swiftly. We informed our vendors (who were wonderful), and then sent out an email to all of our guests."
Concerns
"As time went on, I think the reality for myself (and everyone) began to sink in deeper. When borders were closed, and talks of that extending into the summer, we began to feel more concerned. I started to question if our family and friends abroad would even be able to make our wedding."
Words of Wisdom
"Your love is not defined by your wedding date. What really is special about a wedding is the fact that you have found someone who you want to spend the rest of your life with."
Moving Forward
"We are going to try to celebrate (in a small way!) on July 18th this year. That will help keep that date special! It also gives us something to look forward to. Although it is no longer our wedding date, Covid 19 has revealed the importance of not taking anything for granted."
