Samantha & Ben’s Wedding Story
Due to the current situation, some of our brides had to postpone their weddings. We decided to share with you their inspiring stories in hope that their experiences will help other brides out there going through the same!

Positive Thoughts
"I always like to stay positive so as soon as I had my cry I’ve been good. I tell myself it wasn’t meant to be… maybe it will rain on our original date haha. And as I’ve told other future brides I’ve reached out to – it will be even more special when it happens because of all what we’ve gone through."
Decision Making
"The rules changed to 5 people weddings – bride, groom, celebrant and 2 witnesses. And that’s when we knew. I think we just knew what had to be done. And when we told our family and friends, they all understood and felt for us."
Concerns
"We are still worried our September wedding could be too soon and things haven’t blown over. But we can’t leave it any longer or we will have to put it back for another 4/5 months as it’s sooo hot here in the summer."
Words of Wisdom
"It’s completely ok to be sad. Have your cry but then get back to the planning and make it even better than before! Use that time to really make it the day you’ve always dreamed of! I think feeling like you’re not alone helps, so reach out to others in a similar situation..."
Moving Forward
"I’ve actually had my vendors say I’m the most organised bride haha. I’ve had about 90% of the wedding planned in 2 months from when we were engaged. So March last year! In regards to replanning, haha yeah it’s all done for the new date :) it helps that I’m a graphic designer."
