For my ceremony look “Nicole”, the inspiration was a harmonious blend of timeless romance and contemporary elegance. The design began with the idea of creating a gown that embodied classic bridal beauty with a modern twist. I tried on “Opera”, one of our gowns from our Spring 24 collection and instantly fell in love with the bodice.
To complement the structured corset top, Sharon designed a voluminous tulle skirt with an irregular hem. The layers of tulle provided a dreamy, ethereal quality, allowing me to move gracefully and feel like I was floating down the aisle. The irregular hem added a contemporary edge, introducing an element of surprise and modernity that perfectly balanced the traditional aspects of the gown
To further elevate the look, we incorporated a structured shoulder bolero. This unique addition brought a touch of fashion-forward elegance to the look, making a bold statement while maintaining the gown’s overall romantic feel. The bolero’s architectural lines and structured shoulders added a sense of drama and sophistication, creating a striking silhouette that felt both powerful and feminine.

I opted for a sleek, form-fitting silhouette with intricate beadwork and a daring open back. This look allowed me to move freely and dance the night away, while still feeling glamorous and sophisticated. The main inspiration was the signature GL illusion back. This detail was inspired by the brand’s renowned ability to blend boldness with delicacy, creating a look that is both daring and refined. We wanted the illusion back to be adorned with intricate beaded appliques, creating the appearance of the lace floating on my skin..
Third Look- Welcome Party
Lastly, my third look for the welcome party, “Kiki” was all about fun and flair. I wanted a mini dress that made a bold statement and felt black complemented the chic and modern vibe of the Madrid rooftop space where the event was held.
Knowing that my main wedding dress would be quintessentially bridal, I wanted something entirely different for the welcome party – something that exuded sophistication and a touch of daring elegance. The black mini dress was the epitome of modern glamour. The white feathers added a playful, whimsical touch, creating a striking contrast that symbolized the merging of classic and contemporary elements.
This dress was a true collaboration with our talented team, reflecting our shared passion for creating standout, memorable looks. It was crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail that Galia Lahav is renowned for, ensuring that every feather and stitch was perfectly in place. The result was a dress that not only captured the essence of Madrid but also allowed me to express a different facet of my personality
